Jen and Marco's Visit Redux

Today our first extended guests in Brussels, Dan's sister Jen and brother-in-law Marco, headed back home to the States after a week here. They got off to a slow start in their visit, feeling the effects of jetlag. (Jen, being pregnant, was feeling jetlag for two.) They arrived last Sunday, and didn't really venture out much on their own until Tuesday, when they visited the Chocolate Museum and Grand Place. Wednesday they spent the morning walking around Bruge and the afternoon touring the castle in Ghent. Thursday morning they briefly visited the girls' school, then headed to Paris for an overnight trip. In Paris, in some order, they went to the Louvre, the base of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower, and the top of the Arc de Triomphe. Saturday (yesterday) everyone went to the Atomium.

It was nice to see them for themselves, and for the connection to the States and family too. The girls had a good time with them as well.
